24-25 Third Quarter Internal STARS
Ashley Carey

Our attitude impacts how we approach our job, how we interact with others, and how others respond to us. When we speak with respect and enthusiasm, others feel valued and inspired. Being self-aware helps us remain humble.  Remaining positive allows us to avoid contributing to the negativity that can surround us and can even have a ripple effect in the workplace.  Working with colleagues who demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude encourages us to be problem-solvers and teammates.

Throughout the ESC, we have many employees who demonstrate this positive attitude daily. They make our classrooms & offices healthier and more vibrant places to work.

Please see below to find out who is seen exemplifying these things!

Joe Bachman - "Joe has been a great supervisor for my classroom. What I admire most about Joe is that he listens - to all of us! He also has a very positive and cheerful disposition. If he is ever in a bad mood, he doesn't show that side to us. There are many challenges in my classroom and at times it can be so very stressful. However, it is so much easier to work with people who are positive and optimistic! I am quite sure that Joe has his plate full with multiple responsibilities. There are many players to communicate with from multiple districts related to my classroom. There is a great degree of diplomacy needed, I'm sure. I believe Joe is very good at that (diplomacy). We are grateful for his support."

Betsy Bennett - "When there was a burst water line in one of the buildings at Adriel, Betsy, and Rob jumped right in to solve the issue before it became even worse! Betsy has the attitude that there is no job she won't do if it needs to be done."

Ashley Carey - "Ashley is a sweet person who brings such a calming presence in the central office. She always greets me and has kind and encouraging words to say." and "Ashley is always helpful and has a positive attitude. Ashley is caring and kind to all her coworkers."

Taylor Dixon - "Taylor is respectful and has a positive attitude. She accepts feedback and tries to do what is best for her student."

Heather Embry - "Heather stepped in to help cover services without hesitation. She has a positive attitude even when things get very hectic and continues to be willing to do whatever it takes to provide students with what they need even if it means giving her weekend to catch up on paperwork!" and "Although Heather has taken on a lot more responsibilities lately, she has kept a positive "can do" attitude. She has really taken the reigns on making sure everything continues to run smoothly."

Mindy France - "There are many reasons, but the main reason is dedication to serving others. She is always ready to help others, take time to call parents, and is a team player!"

His dedication to the students he serves is evident by his attitude of helpfulness when needed to the point of using his evening or weekend to catch up on paperwork if needed."

Adrienne James - "Adrienne James is the quintessential example/employee for this quarter's "Attitude" award! Adrienne exhibits an endlessly positive and upbeat attitude and demeanor about her own work as well as the work of those around her. What's more- her attitude is truly authentic! She approaches people and situations from a "can-do," "let's do" frame of mind that is infectious. You can't help but feel appreciated and valued when working and interacting with Adrienne. She shares her ideas and expertise generously while demonstrating openness and excitement regarding the ideas and input of others.
