We have opportunities in place for districts to nominate our staff for outstanding customer service, but felt we also needed a way for ESC employees to recognize each other. Each quarter will focus on one of our Four Dimensions. For the fourth quarter, we focused on-Reliability. The characteristics for this trait(RELIABILITY) are: Respects the time of self and others, respects and manages commitments, does their best work daily, and manages time effectively.

Joe Bachman - "Honestly Joe is just always so calm, knowledgeable, and positive no matter what the situation is. This is in the school, any meeting or team or with any youth or family. Joe has never turned me away when I ask for advice or his opinion. As a coworker, this has meant more than anyone realizes since I walk alone in my position. I truly believe he is a positive role model for our youth, employees, our school districts, and community."

Kristi Borger - "Kristi has many positive leadership characteristics as the OT Coordinator. She is prompt with answering questions and is willing to give advice when needed. Kristi is receptive to feedback. She has recently made plans to initiate a plan for additional PD among the OT department for the 23-24 school year, a suggestion that was made by members of the OT team in a recent survey. Kristi is organized and helps keep the OT team on track with monthly reporting deadlines. She cares about her co-workers. She follows up to see how I'm feeling or doing throughout the school year. I am so thankful to have an OT Coordinator whom I trust and enjoy working with!" and "Kristi has always done an excellent job as a supervisor. She is always available, listens when there are professional and or personal issues, and has shown great patience when asked questions when paperwork or other items have been forgotten or turned in late. Angie Brouhard - "The description of this Star Quality IS Angie! She has always been such a calming and positive presence for me at work and I really appreciate her. I am blessed to have been able to work so closely with her during my time at the ESC."

Heather Burris - "Heather maintains her composure when dealing with stressful situations and she is very patient with our ESC staff and people from the community; providing guidance and support when needed. Heather is always willing to lend a listening ear and offer help if it is needed. Ashley Carey - "No matter what the day brings, Ashley can always be counted on to share a smile and check in on the well-being of those within the office. I appreciate her positivity."

Matt Carey - "Matt is quick to do whatever is asked of him. He never appears annoyed or puts me off whenever he is asked for something. Matt is good at making my request a priority. If he can't complete the request by the end of the day he will let me know when it will be completed and always follows through. Matt has a positive attitude and a willingness to help out wherever needed." and "Matt is newer to the office, but since Day 1, he is always saying, "Hello," and offering his assistance. His job isn't always pretty, but his attitude is always positive and he always maintains composure." and "I'd like to take this opportunity to recognize Matt for always displaying a positive attitude no matter what the day may bring. Melissa Clerico - "Melissa responded to the request that she be the teacher for our new classroom and she is amazing at her job! She is kind, organized, and doing an amazing job every day! Even tho her degree is not in teaching she is willing to learn everything that has been presented. I'm so proud of her!! She deserves this reward."

Kalen Copas - "Kaelan always has a smile and a great attitude. If her student is absent, she never hesitates to jump in and help somebody else. This may be her first year but you would never know it. She does a great job!"

James Cutlip-Savage - "During this challenging time of the school year (which involves planning for NEXT year), James is a true example of maintaining composure and exhibiting patience." and "James's positive attitude is contagious! I am so thankful for him."

Heather Embry - "Heather is ALWAYS willing to help out when schedules get crazy! Her attitude is truly "work to serve" and she demonstrates this with her willingness to assist another therapist when the need arises even if she needs to change her schedule. Heather is a vital part of the PT family!"

Jen Fisher - "Jen goes above and beyond for the students in her classroom. She is always trying to find new ways to help when a student is struggling. Jen is always helping the teacher in the classroom. She is an outstanding coworker and leader."

Chris Flowers - "Chris is always smiling. It is obvious that she enjoys her job and enjoys helping others, too. She shared with me a challenging experience and throughout her story, she held a positive outlook and searched for solutions rather than getting defeated."

Lesly Hollar - "Lesly goes above and beyond helping me in the classroom. She is the keeper of all passwords, alarms, and forms! Lesly builds positive relationships with all of the students and helps differentiate a lesson when needed. Appreciate everything she does!"

Nick Howell - "Nick is always kind and patient. When he works with new hires, he is well-composed and makes sure to ask others how he can assist in future supports."

Cherrie Knight - "She and the other two paras have welcomed me into their classroom and made me feel like I was part of their team. I didn't start the year feeling that way. So I'm very grateful for the warm welcome. She's also a good fun teacher they all deserve an award for teamwork."

Tina Leeper - "Tina is one of the most helpful individuals in the building. Her attitude is positive each day and she makes work a more pleasant environment. She gives her best every day and is always very supportive of different staff and students. She constantly goes out of her way to make the classroom the best it can be. Melissa Scoville - "She always maintains a positive attitude even on the hardest days and because of that my attitude is always better."

Emily Sells - "Emily always has a positive attitude! Emily always comes in ready to work with the kids and hopeful about what the students can accomplish. No previous experience she had affects the attitude she comes in with each day. Even when she is dealing with things in her personal life, the students would never be aware because she always makes the students feel like they are the only thing that matters to her when she is working with them. All of the students are always happy to see her and work with her. Her attitude is contagious and we all benefits from having her work with our students! I am glad my students are able to work with her and we are able to serve on the same team!"

Jessica Sweeney - "Jess has a good attitude in everything that she does. She helps out with two different classrooms and never complains. She does various things that are asked of her and works well with everyone."

Amy Stiles - "Amy ALWAYS maintains her composure and is calm and patient. She is an AMAZING advocate for all of her students! She is always available to problem-solve issues and scenarios within the classroom and with her team. She's very animated during lessons and her attitude always shines through as she smiles, laughs, and keeps the students engaged!"

Angie Thomas - "Angie exudes a positive attitude! Our job as preschool teachers is not always the easiest but Angie always has a smile on her face and is willing to help when needed!"

Mark Townsley - "Mark teaches Career Ed at our school. He enthusiastically guides our students in growing vegetables, understanding finances, and learning to eat and cook healthily. Mark even taught each class, K thru 12, how to cook for another class. The meals they prepared were of restaurant quality. He does all of this with positivity and a willingness to ensure all students participate equally. Mark also leads MACAW where students are able to learn to work different jobs at school. There are countless other jobs that Mark does all with an attitude that demonstrates his love and willingness for the success of each student."

Penny Van Horn - "Penny has a great attitude when working with the staff and students. She is awesome at her job and willing to help out wherever she is needed. She has been wonderful in helping out with the new classroom. I’m not sure what I would do without her help."

Mark Ward - "Mark has jumped into his new role with nothing but a great attitude! When you look up patience and composure in the dictionary, Mark's picture should be there. He listens to others' concerns and will offer suggestions if asked. Mark is a true servant leader!"

Tracey Wilson - "Tracey has a ton on her plate and a lot to juggle each day, but she keeps a positive attitude with all the people she interacts with on a daily basis. The preschool program and the ESC as a whole are better because she is here!" and "Tracey always has the best attitude. She is the first voice that our community hears when they call the preschool and the first face that is seen when parents and community members come to the preschool portion of the ESC. She always exhibits a positive attitude and is so kind to anyone and everyone (even when that kindness is not reciprocated). Cortney Yost - "Cortney is always a team player and has a great attitude (even when things don't go as planned.) She is an incredible teacher and an even more amazing person who deserves to be recognized.
