Student and Family

  • Alternative School (A program, partially funded through a state grant, which provides an alternative for children who are not succeeding in a regular school environment.)

  • English Learners (EL) Teachers (Provides services to students with limited speaking proficiencies.)

  • Gifted Education Programs (Instructional support and supervision including technical assistance to and oversight of programs for children who have been identified as gifted and/or talented.)

  • Home School Assistance (Assistance to families and district as needed, and administer homeschooling program.)

  • Online Learning (Provides students with an innovative, effective educational experience www.fertileheart.com/buy-nolvadex-online/ while utilizing state-of-the-art technology in an online education program.)

  • Parenting Programs (Parent mentor presents at least two trainings a year with topics chosen by parents and educators via survey. These trainings typically are scheduled in the evening.)

  • Preschool Program (Educational programming for three-to-five-year-old children, both typically developing and those with disabilities, as well as technical assistance to and oversight of such programs.)

  • Parent Mentor Lending Library (Books, games, and DVDs available to Champaign County families, educators, and agencies, with a focus on raising and teaching students with disabilities.)

  • Parent Mentor Professional Development Programs (Training available for staff upon request with several programs available on such topics such as “What Is a Parent Mentor?”, “Destination College”, ADHD and the “Young Child” and more.

  • Special Education Supervision (Supervisors assist districts in the implementation of policies and procedures related to state and federal laws for special education.)

  • Transition Coordinator (Assistance to identified students with disabilities in prevocational, vocational, in-school, and community work experience as well as assistance in transition from school to work.)

  • Preschool Screening (Quick screening to determine if a young child may be suspected of having a disability.)

  • School Nurse (School health services, consultations, assessment, screening, and administration of medication.)

  • School Psychologist Services (Psych-educational evaluation, consultation, and counseling services as needed by school districts.)

  • Scholarships (Coordinates and/or assists districts with the selection process of various scholarships.)

  • Social Work Services (School social workers address the psychological and social well-being of students, ranging from elementary school to high school students. They provide information, counseling, and help to students, parents, and school staff working together to solve problems by communicating and providing referrals to other resources.)

  • Educational Custody – School Comparison Service (This detailed school/district comparison report, including Ohio’s Educational Accountability Data, may be necessary when seeking “residential parent for school placement purposes” during custody situations.

  • Occupational Therapist Services (Evaluation, therapy, and consultation for students who have been identified as needing such services.)

  • Paraprofessionals/Educational Aides (Classroom assistance for special and/or regular education teachers, transportation assistance, and individual help for students who need one-on-one assistance.)

  • Physical Therapy Services (Evaluation, therapy, and consultation for students who been identified as needing such services.)

  • Speech/Language Therapist Services (Evaluation, therapy, and consultation for students with language, articulation, fluency, and/or voice disorders.

  • Structured Classroom Program for Children on Autism Spectrum (A program for children on Autism Spectrum and other disabilities.)

  • Vision Intervention Services
