As the Champaign County Attendance Officer, my responsibilities include home visits to check on the well-being of our students. When necessary, I transport students to school, participate in Attendance Intervention Meetings at the schools with the families and student, www.asasurgery.com/viasild/ attend court hearings, and work with families to overall improve attendance. I raise awareness for the House Bill 410, pertaining to attendance hours. For my role as the county Homeless Liaison, I work with families to remove any barriers they are experiencing with homelessness. I offer assistance with enrolling students and providing help when needed. I can be reached 24 hours a day to assist in any needs.
